Our Story
Behind the Scenes at ForSingleParents.com-
This site is all about helping real people. People who are trying to make it on their own as Single Parents.
After more than 18-years of Single Parenting, I have discovered we must utilize the resources we have in each
other! It is possible to go from struggling, to successful with help! But therein lies the problem - where do
Single Parents go to find one another for support and friendship? How can we Exchange Childcare, or
Share Housing- without putting an ad in the classifieds? And what about Dating and Friendship?? Where can we
turn?
Up until now, there hasn’t been a place to safely and conveniently locate other Single Parents. We have
desperately needed something to fix the problem of Single Parent isolation long ago! And after waiting
for “someone else” to fix the problem- I finally had enough, and decided to do something about it myself!
Creating this site could very well be the solution Single Parents have been looking for! It's time for us
to make connections with other Single Parents who can help.
By developing this databased site, I am providing Single Parents with an option we've needed for years!
Sometimes we need extra help,or simply friendship with someone who speaks our language. This site can help
find what's missing in our lives. Single Parent Members agree to participate for themselves and each other.
We can support and encourage one another through the toughest job in the world- parenting! It’s serious
business, and should be treated as such. With the development and launch of this site, we're not going to be
alone any more! And hopefully, this site will make sure we never are!!
